With over 24 years of experience in the non-profit arena, Dorothy joined SAMMinistries in February 2006. As Chief Financial Officer, Dorothy directs the organization’s financial planning and accounting practices as well as its relationship with banking/investment institutions, stakeholders, and the financial community.
Dorothy has served in lead financial positions and executive director roles in several non-profit entities including Vocational Rehabilitation Facilities, Children’s Bereavement Center, Family Service Association and Congregation Agudas Achim.
Dorothy currently serves as an adjunct accounting professor for the Alamo Community College District and Wayland Baptist University.
Dorothy graduated with Distinction and Special Honors from Jacksonville State University, Jacksonville, Alabama with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in accounting from Troy State University in Dothan, Alabama.
